A team of over two dozen female
Ottawa physicians, known as the Draggin' Docs, may not
have won the Ottawa Dragon Boat Race in late June, but
they did raise the second-largest sum of money of any
team present — over $16,000. The money will go
to a variety of charities, including several healthcare
organizations. The doctors also came away with the "Most
Spirit" award, which earned them a huge trophy full
of beer that they drank on stage.
